Student Rights

  • Students may cancel enrollment at any time (letter, email, phone, online form, or in person).

  • Written notice is effective upon delivery or mailing with postage.

  • All refunds are processed within 30 days.

  • If refund policies change, the version on the student’s signed enrollment agreement applies.

New Students’ Right to Cancel

  • 100% tuition and refundable fees refunded if canceled before attending the first class or within 7 days of enrollment (whichever is later).
  • This period is called “THE CANCELLATION PERIOD.”

  • Notice of cancellation can be submitted by email, phone, fax, written letter, or withdrawal form via Moodle.

Withdrawing After the Cancellation Period

Students may withdraw in writing or via Moodle. Refunds are pro rata based on week of withdrawal.

Dismissal or Withdrawal Occurs If:

  • Student submits withdrawal form

  • University terminates enrollment

  • Student fails to return from leave of absence

  • Student stops attending courses for 2 consecutive weeks without excuse

Refunds for financial aid students are first applied back to loans and grants, with any remainder paid to the student.
