From the Office of Athletic Director

I would like to welcome you to the California Miramar University Fighting Falcon’s sports page. My name is Chris Shade, I am the Athletic Director here at CMU. During my eight years it has been my pleasure to help create, mold, and structure the Athletic Department and assist in the development of CMU student-athletes. My fulfilment is sharing the journey of education and
sports with students as they move toward graduation and beyond to future endeavors.

CMU currently offers:

  • Men’s Basketball is led by Head Coach Robert Clark.
  • CMU Men’s Soccer is led by Coach Jake Corona.
  • CMU Baseball is led by Coach Jesse Quintero.
  • CMU Softball is led by Coach Chris Shade, we are currently recruiting for the 2024-2025 season.

Here at California Miramar University our priority is academics, then athletics and we strive to support students throughout their journey at CMU. We are looking for student-athletes that value their academic career, as well as being a part of the Fighting Falcon family.
