Prospective Students

Yes. Explore the Admissions section for requirements, applications, financial aid, scholarships, program guides, and virtual tours.

Visit the Programs section, where you can filter by degree level or field of study and view details on curriculum, faculty, career outcomes, and completion time.

Options include federal aid (grants/loans), scholarships for domestic and international students, military benefits, flexible payment plans, and international scholarships. Contact finaid@calmu.edu for guidance.

 
 

CalMU provides support through apartment partnerships, homestay programs, housing referrals, and roommate matching services.

International Students

All programs, including STEM-designated programs (MSCIS, MSAI, MBA in Data Analytics), which qualify for extended OPT.

Steps: admission, financial documentation, I-20 issuance, SEVIS fee, F-1 visa application, interview, and travel. The International Student Office offers full guidance and pre-arrival webinars.
 
 
Yes. Options include on-campus work, CPT during study, and OPT after completion (up to 36 months for STEM programs).
 
 
 
 

Yes. Services include orientation, cultural adjustment workshops, tutoring, housing assistance, cultural events, immigration advising, and health insurance guidance.

Submit official translated transcripts, course syllabi, and evaluation by a NACES-member agency. Up to 90 credits may transfer for bachelor’s and 18 for master’s programs.

Yes. Through CPT courses, internship partnerships, job placement services, networking events, career fairs, and LinkedIn Learning access.

Technical Questions

Computer (Win10/Mac 10.14+), broadband internet, modern browser, webcam/mic, MS Office (free for students). Optional: mobile device, printer/scanner.

Via Moodle LMS: weekly modules, multimedia content, discussions, assignments, live/optional sessions, faculty interaction, and 24/7 access. Orientation is provided.

 
 
FERPA compliance, secure login, data encryption, limited data collection, privacy-trained staff, vendor vetting, and regular security audits.
