Going back to school as a working parent can be a difficult decision to make. You have the desire to advance in your career, and getting a graduate degree can help you get there. I wanted to share the fact that my Capstone Project from the Strategic Leadership Program has become my new career. I did it on a non-profit operating out of Liberia, West Africa called Surf Resource Network. (Uses surfing as a positive things for kids to focus on after their unfortunate history of civil war and child soldiers). Sherri Petro was of great help during this process whether she remembers or not!! I was incredibly sick during my final presentation and barely had a voice, but she coached me through it!
