Hawley Veterans Service Center Volunteer Event
CMU Volunteers have partnered with Volunteers for America to help the Veteran population of San Diego by organizing a day at the Hawley Veterans Center. Our Volunteers spent the day working to improve the Center by painting the outside of the building, while learning about the experiences of Veterans in San Diego. California Miramar University and Volunteers of America are partnering for Hawley Veterans Services Center Volunteer Event. Hawley Veterans Services Center is a non-profit organization that assists veterans in need of temporary housing. We will be painting the window trims of the two houses of the temporary housing of the veterans. California Miramar University is aiming to build relations and contribute to San Diego community.
