California Miramar University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) to award Associate, Bachelor, Masters and Doctorate degrees. The Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) is listed as a federally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is also a recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

As part of CMU’s reaccreditation process, the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) conducted a virtual visit on April 1st, 2021. As a result of this process, additional documentation is being requested by DEAC. During this time, we are ‘Accredited but Operating Under Show Cause Directive’.
