CMU Appreciates You, Professor Joanne Carrubba!

Professor of Art and Humanities at CMU

Professor Joanne Carrubba has been teaching for more than 10 years at a number of colleges and universities in the San Diego, CA area.  She holds both a BA and an MA in Art History from the University of New Mexico, with a focus in both contemporary Native American Art and a secondary focus on Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica.  Carrubba has written for her own blog, as well as the blogs and books of the Program for Online Teaching, for which she is an instructor.   She also works as an independent curator for traveling exhibitions.  Her work has focused on intersections in contemporary art, as well as online pedagogy.

The #1 piece of advice that Professor Carrubba gives to her students is: "Work hard; learn as much as possible; savor this moment."

For all that Professor Carrubba does for CMU and our students, we want to say THANK YOU!
