I like that a Hybrid program meets just once a week and the rest is online. What do current CMU students think about the Hybrid MBA?
CMU students have reported that the Hybrid Program format has been a perfect fit! The flexibility of the Hybrid format works great for people with busy lives. Pictured here are 7 members from a Hybrid MBA class. David M., pictured top right, said this about the MBA Hybrid at CMU:
"You get more mileage from a hybrid!" To get the scoop directly from current CMU students, contact the Office of Admissions and they will be happy to connect you.
- Who can use the scholarship?
Only qualifications for the scholarship are to be a San Diego resident & have completed an accredited bachelor degree.
- What is the difference between Hybrid and Online?
Hybrid Master's Program blends classroom and online learning! Class meets just once a week and the rest is online. Courses are 6 weeks long and students take one course at a time. Students finish in less than 2 years. It's the ideal schedule for students who want to attend class in-person but balance work/school/family.
100% Online means you make your own schedule! 100% Online with CMU support means that the faculty, staff, and library are all happy to support and help you complete your academic goals. If you live in San Diego, you can use the library, meet in person with student services, and get support in person. All of this support is available remotely for students around the world, too.
- What is the fine print on the scholarship?
Scholarship recipients will have $2,500 taken off the cost of their tuition for the Master's program:
$11,505 - $2,500 Scholarship = $9,005 for the entire MSSL or MBA
There is total of $100,000 in the Scholarship Fund. Scholarship funds have to be used by Dec 31, 2010.
- Which Master's programs can I use this scholarship for?
- What if I haven't done (well) on my entrance exams?
We don't require GRE/GMAT Scores for admissions. CMU is looking for students who will work hard and do well in their Master's program. We don't believe that standardized tests are the best indicators of success in a Master's program.
- What is the deadline?
Call admissions for the class schedule. Scholarship funds have to be used by Dec 31, 2010.
- Is CMU convenient to get to?
Yep, CMU is conveniently located just off I-15 on Miramar Rd. Easy access from the 52, the 56, the 805, the 15, and Miramar Rd. Plus, free parking for students!
- What do I do now?
Applicants may complete an application online. Call the Office of Admissions at (858) 653-3000 x120 or email admissions@calmu.edu with questions or for the upcoming class schedule.
- Anything else to know?
It's more fun to go to school with friends or colleagues! Forward this information to your friends, family members, and colleagues who would be interested in this scholarship. Everyone forwards emails but how often do you forward information worth $2,500? We are sure your friends will say "Thank You" for this forward!
