California Miramar University's graduating Executive MBA class had the great privilege to tour the Rancho Bernardo facility of Hewlett Packard. HP Engineers Ben Wood and Sara Schaeffer-Alsop led the tour of the manufacturing line. Students were able to see the production line and tour the HP Customer Experience Center. Hewlett-Packard's Rancho Bernardo facility has been part of the community for 35 years. The facility holds eight buildings sitting on 1 million square feet. The 80-acre facility is home to the Imaging and Printing Group, three Consumer Business Organization functions, four divisions, two operations and two marketing centers. HP has developed and commercialized innovative printing and imaging technologies for customers all over the world. CMU would like to thank HP for a great tour and a wonderful learning experience. CMU would also like to thank the Chamber Interim President Keith Turner for all of his work to make this tour a great success! The graduates who participated on the HP tour comprise mid to senior level management at both public and private organizations in Vietnam. They completed CMU's Executive MBA program at the Center for Systems Development at Vietnam National University, and worked full time while pursing their degree. During the two year Executive MBA program, curriculum focused around case studies on both American and International corporations. The HP tour helped to demonstrate how American corporations run and operate, and was an excellent opportunity to see case studies come alive! California Miramar University's graduation ceremony was held November 9th at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in Downtown, San Diego.
